the good thing about using the ball bearing is you after you insert the ball bearing into the rubber hose and plug back in to the original spot without having the rubber hose hanging around. When you bring it to the service, they can't really tell coz everything in place rather then seeing an unplug hose with a golf T plugged the end of the hose.

Wouldn't they be able to figure it out with all the "Vroom, Vroom" noise it is making compared to a stock one?

I actually found the ball bearing on the floor somewhere and tried it on and it fit nice & tightly, I guess the size should be 7/32.

why not just bend the hose ad wire tie it? i doesnt throw any codes and it works.
u just need something to block the vacuum to the mechanism

This "mod" is pissing me off. I can't find a god-damn ball bearing anywhere!
