Any self i-drive updates available?

Anyone figured out a way to update I drive our own damn selves??? lol

I sooo wanna do it.. too bad Idrive will be replaced in 2009.. i was hoping some geeks as myself would have been able to tap into this and create mods as its sorta unix based.

If no way to udpate the idrve, what are the latest mods?

I ask of this so i can simply look them up in this forum to try em out. I last heard of the POI months ago.. just curious if there are any easier ways to do a lot of other things as well.

iDrive runs on VxWorks. VxWorks is POSIX and ANSI C compliant, like Unix, but it's not related to or based on any sort of Unix, Linux, or BSD kernel.

Don't I wish our cars ran Linux!
