Sorry for your loss OP. I wish more people would listen instead of defending these stupid WW setups. For those still trying to learn its not ALWAYS the WW cap, meth can get out other ways.
There is also stainless steel braided line upgrades which are virtually leak proof and race fuel cell options for use with methanol. If anyone needs help converting I'm a PM away. As always the safest meth is no meth. |

The hardware necessary to avoid push connectors is available, I've checked before. I strongly suggest everyone migrate to them. The Chinese finger trap connections don't carry much confidence in my book.

The new meth pump from Vishnu has compression fittings. I almost lost a finger trying to tighten them so I have complete confidence in the compression fittings. I may end up ordering a new WW tank and filler neck from Tischer next week. I am going to bring the tank and filler neck in to a fab shop and talk with them to have them construct a solid metal tank that fits in the same location of the current WW tank.
I will have them fab a an fitting on the tank and run a braided line to the meth pump. I will then run a huge 1 inch gauge braided line to a large an fitting. This will replace the filler neck. I think once you have a metal tank in place of the plastic tank we will all be ok. I will be eliminating the WW pump on the tank and the level sensor. I believe this to be the best solution. I know it sounds like a lot of work but id rather do this than run a trunk mount. Just my personal opinion. |

I've taken the WW tank out once before to clean the filter as seen in my DIY. It is located on the other side of the frame and is blocked by the metal body of the car completely.
I believe there is enough air circulation while driving for it to not be an issue. But I will consider a heat wrap. Do you have any suggestions? I am looking into a one way vapor only check valve for expansion purposes. I will keep you all posted I've been thinking of this design for a while now. |

Hey guys
I've been getting a lot of PMs about the braided lines and stuff. I only know they are compatible with devils own kits not sure about aquamist vishunu/PWM stuff. I would need to look into it tomorrow and see if I can research more about it. |

Jeff, there seems to be quite a lot of interest for this now. It seems like a great time to bring a conversion kit to the community.

Those kits are easy. The aquamist uses different fittings and I'm not sure about their pump. |

Pretty sure you can put it on the left side, if I remember right there is no amp over there like there is on the 3/5 series cars.

There's plenty of room for a front mounted tank infront of the driver side wheel well, just don't get in a front end collision

I believe this covers most of the needs. I'm pretty sure all the fittings in the pumps and such are pipe thread. just need to know the size and order appropriately.
