What Magnaflows?
MR.5,
Really nice Job and a great price! Do you have Part #s on the magnaflows and tips you used? You still have the cats and the resonator in your clips right? How loud was it with the mufflers off, straight out of the resonator drone city? "Life begins at 150" |

The Part number for the Magnaflow mufflers is #11236 The tips are #35125 I thought I mentioned in my first post--resonator is still there and the secondary cats are deleted. I never tested it. Why would I want to?

I drive 100 miles a day and I'm very happy with how it is. Yes, I would like it a little louder for street driving, but it would just kill me on the freeway. The great thing about this sytem is that there is a power increase. You don't have to be loud to be quicker.

exhaust
Hey Your system makes sense. did you replace your secondary cats with a just a straight pipe. as I understand from the downpipes back is secondary cats (removed) , X pipe (in place of the resonator), muffler. How much louder is your system I'm looking for performance not increased sound. Do you have any info on the hp gains. thanks for you time and effort.

Mr. 5, how different is your system from the complete cat-back system Magnaflow has on their website? http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/s...ne=all&id=4955
Do you have the same tips as that? I am most likely going to get that system as it sounds nice and has a decent HP gain (not to mention I can get the distributor discount), but was wondering if the 4" tips were too ricey. It looks like it fills out the stock bumper nicely though. |
