This is interesting...

I was just about to post seperately a thread called something like 'what watch deals are out there at the mo' and up pops this!

Looks nice to me. My kind of thing.

I like chunky, steel bracelet type watches with a lot of character... I'm not keen on these very slight, snakeskin type strap watches that are popular!

What was the deal MB?

Anyone spotted some crazy bargains online or anything? I know someone (Scuba I think) had a local dealer doing 50% off on some nice ones not long ago.

Thanks
Matt

Ok, the watch can be bought with the basic rubber strap (as pictured) for £2K, it can bought with a bracelet for £2.3K or with the ocean racer rubber strap (which is basically a rubber strap with some holes in and a very nice clasp and not the standard buckle) for £2.23K – this is the one im going for.

The prices I have mentioned are from a high street retailer (goldsmiths) and they will happily do 10% down and the balance on interest free credit over 3 years. If you pay cash/credit card they will knock of 10%, or if you know someone in the trade and they are not that hard to find – and you have hard cash you will be able to get 20% off of Breitling.

Personally I will by it from the shop, bung them a grand and pay the balance on a new credit card, and pay it off within the 16 interest free time period. I have seen the watch in the flesh and it is a belter, this model has literately just been released

They look great, as do most Breitlings, i love divers style watches for casual / weekend wear.

It's a pity Breitling's movements are made by Swatch though, although they have just released their very first in house movement - about time after 125 years!

absolutely, many of the main brands buy in 3rd party movements. in fact very few make their own.
