Problem pressing brake pedal when starting car
Not sure if anyone else has encountered this before, but I know it's been discussed in some chat threads.
I have an 07 March build E92 335i Steptronic. To start my car, I depress the brake pedal and push the start button. Lately, when I start my car after it's been parked overnight, the brake pedal is very stiff and does not press very far down. In fact, it barely allows me to step on it. It's like it can only be pressed down an inch or so. I know Purple All Sectors has this problem as well, though he doesn't drive his car for a week at a time. It seems to only happen when the car hasn't been driven for awhile. If I drive it around, park for a short period, then start it up again, the brake pedal presses down fine. Anyone else have this problem before?
