Buying from gumtree advice

Seen a nice set of wheels on gumtree but they are over in Belfast. Question is what kind of protection do I get if I buy using paypal? Wheels are 700 so we are talking a few bob here. Don't want to get scammed
Cheers in advance

If you send as a payment you'll have more come back than as a gift. The seller incurs a fee then. As a gift you'll have no comeback and you'll pay the fee.

Don't pay as a gift!

If you pay for "goods" or "service", your ass is covered (use a credit card

Just go onto paypal and read up there terms and conditions. You are more protected as a buyer then most people realise. Just get clarification via email on eaxactly what u are buying and the condition then pay as goods and services. You are at risk for postage cost tho if something went wrong.

Ive bought alloys from america and poland based upon the above

I have used Paisley Freight in the past to get wheels from England to Belfast.
