Where are you located? Local pickup is the only way you will be selling your the hood.

If it's not for a local pickup, I doubt you will be able to sell it. First off, this is your first post. Second, you don't have any location or any info listed on your avatar. 3rd, I'd bet you want over $800 for it. So for me to spend that much money, I want to see it first before I pay anything. That's why local pickup is the only way to go.

Otherwise, you're SOL!

Well, look at the facts that are before us:
1.) At that point, your one and only post was for a $1,500 hood. Your second post is a response saying he had an alarmist reply.
2.) Your join date is 7/31/2007. Which is, well, TODAY! You are a complete and total stranger here, with no reputation what so ever.
3.) You list no location in your profile, nor in your ad. You also don't mention shipping, and something like this has to go truck freight ($$$.)
4.) You don't even post ACTUAL pictures of the hood, just some that you stole from another website. Yes, stole, unless you happen to own www.nyxracing.com. You are using their bandwidth and images, probably without permission too.
5.) You have exactly 2 posts on Bimmerforums.com too, one of which is an ad for this hood, the other one is of zero consequence. Oh, and your join date there is 7/25, and it says you drive a 2002ti. Here is says you drive an E90. Now we have an inconsistency. Honest mistake, or a sign of deception?
6.) You profile on Bimmerforums doesn't list a location either.

That is a whole lot of items that really zing the "SCAMDAR", as it were. Maybe, just maybe, you would get a much better response to your ad if people had any reason to trust you. To date, you have offered nothing of the sort, and your reply is going the wrong way towards that end, fast.

Funny how something as simple as trying to sell a hood on two forums has turned into territorial pissings, poor CSI detective work, and fulfilling every negative BMW stereotype that's known. Awesome work! Guess that's a reason I've always enjoyed owning the cars more than interacting with owners like you. Scott, not sure if you know this, but it is possible to own a BMW, enjoy that ownership without ever leaning towards being a 'tard. (Seriously, it's possible. I've managed to accomplish this, as have many others!)

As for my 2002 ownership, I'm guessing that a diehard BMW fan like yourself wouldn't know what TA2002US refers to, no? I'm sure plenty do; it's not a secret. It's not even that clever. Just an appreciation of the era of BMW's I grew up admiring and ultimately owned. There were models before the E36, Scott.
