Ok so I know I am going to proabably just get laughed at, but whatever, I am going to ask it. First off, I have been bouncing back and fourth about selling my E90, my friend works for BMW and is going to be nice and knock out some maintenance that needs to get done, and depending on the outcome I will keep her. Now back to my original reason for this post, cant you just pull the battery for X-Amount of time and reset the ECU and Trans-ECU? I did this all the time I made changes to my track car before I got my tuner and it worked, because the ECU would learn the "NEW" setup I have to a certain point. Or are BMW's just that crazy that you have to be some magical wizard to do anything?
