Question winter tires and wheel

hi

i found that for 335i coupe is bets for winter http://www.tirerack.com/snow/WinterP...lar=Base+Model

Original Equipment Wheel Diameter: 17"
17" Recommended: 205/50-17
17" Alternate: 225/45-17

as i understood rear and front tires are the same 205/50-17???

Original Equipment Wheel Diameter: 18"
18" Recommended: 225/40-18
18" Alternate: 235/40-18

so it can be for winter also 18 inches not only 17 ???

Yes, you can do 18" for winter tires.
Best size is 225/40R18 front and back.

Second that! They work great and look nice on the car. 17s were out of the question for me.

I went with 18s. Toasted two wheels on a pothole. I'm not sure if it would have happened with 17s. Traction is not an issue with 18s however. The Goodyear ultragrips are very good, better than the blizzaks or Dunlop winter sports I've used.
