The H&R sway bars are hands down the best suspension mod you can get for your e90. The front and rear bars balance the car considerably and the car has barley any roll on low and high speed turns. The car has better traction now but the rear end wants to get loose if I push is hard on a low speed sharp turn.

Del thank for all your help today, and James thanks for the great prices!
glad your happy with it, you know i can't let you leave the shop dissatisfied

Is there really a point to getting the fronts if it's only .5 mm thicker?

Sorry bro we all thought they came with the stiffest settings. The sway bars are going to make a big difference Tyler I hit a freeway on ramp today with all sorts of confidence. Amazing!

You didn't cut and paste the most important part of that post--the top part that said:

Stiffness increases to the 4th degree with a small increase in bar diameter. I could tell that the car plowed (i.e., understeered) even more when only the front sway bar was installed. Most factory cars are designed with some inherent understeer for safety, so I presume that H&R was attempting to balance the car with the selection of their bar diameters.

Absolutely! I'm so glad that someone else has done this sway bar mod and can appreciate the difference it makes. I believe hunter may have done this as well. We should be hearing from him soon.

I think I will definitely be doing the sway bar mod sooner or later.

I put some aftermarket sways on my last car (g35), and the difference in handling was night and day...extremely noticeable.

From what you guys are reporting, looks like I'm sold.

So the consensus is that the front's DO make a difference worth the $ amount? I'm looking to purchase a set too, but if the front aways make minimal difference, I'd rather save the $ and get something else..any real life comments on the front setup?

I havent done the sway bar on the e90 yet, probally wont do it, but every car that I have done this too, the rear bar was the difference maker. I am pretty much alone in my view of the rear-bar only approach though. Either way, a new set or rear-bar only, will be a HUGE improvement over the stock setup.

lol, most oem bars are like that. If you think about it, most everything is like that, the dampers, springs, bars all pale in comparison to aftermarket versions, hence the reason to go aftermarket.
