Toyo Proxes R1R ??

Does anyone have any experience w/ the Toyo Proxes R1R? I know it's a new tire, but I can't find much info. The Toyo sites lists a 255/35/18. This is what I currently run on all 4 corners, but I know that some tires can be wider than others. Does anyone know if this will fit on the front of an e90 for sure?

I'm also interested in pricing. I can't find anything anywhere. I'm trying to decide on track tires for the upcoming season and these are the only ones that I can't find any info on. Any assistance would be much appreciated. Thanks!

I tried it on an STI and it's the best tire I've ever used. The traction is amazing as the limit is far beyond anything I have used before.

I plan to use these on my own car. This is a brand new tire and I don't believe prices in the US have been released yet.

Tirerack for the most part does not carry Toyo tires... Don't ask me why.

I would have bought my Proxes 4's from tirerack if they carried them...

googled a lil around the net. I found some really positive responses, mostly from drifters, like higher cornering speed, good control etc., but I dunno if a drifter is the best reference for tires...

anyway, the tires are really new, I think they are going to be released feb21 in UK, so I'm curious about some tire tests/comparisons made after. If U happen to have something usefull, post it. thx

Thanks for the info guys. The drifter stuff is what I found as well. Pricing would be good to find. I'll keep looking. If they're reasonable, these could be my '08 track tires.

You should be able to fit the 255s on all four corners without a problem (if you stay near the stock wheel offset). I've used the Toyo R888s on 18x8.5 SSR Type Cs in 255/35 18 with no rubbing.
