You will absolutely love the quaife !! I made the mistake of not doing the rear subframe bushings at the same time, but they will finaly be fitted next week

Rear subframe bushings made the quaife feel so much more responsive. No longer does the car decide when to lose traction. Now you can tell it when you start sliding.

Update - I'm also going to do an M3 front sway, VAC is recommending it as my car is going to be very tail-happy with the Quaife by itself, not to mention the stiffer M3 rear sway. Quote:
I'm very excited to see how much different my car is on the track.

Please post a review once everything is installed.
I have been thinking of adding the M3 front/rear sway bars and subframe bushings to my E92. I already have Koni yellows and H&R sport springs so I am unsure if these upgrades will make me lose traction when I'm coming out of a turn since I don't have an LSD. |

VAC finished the work yesterday and I drove her home this morning!
Items completed: -Diff removed and built into Quaife ATB -M3 subframe brushings -M3 26.5mm front sway bar -M3 20mm rear sway bar I'll make another thread with a full review after I put a few hundred miles down - for now here's some quick thoughts. During my 20 min ride home I found the car to be dialed in nicely ... there is less body roll and when you want to turn, it just ..... turns. The car had some hesitation before which I didn't notice until it was gone. Additionally I noticed superior communication with the road - I think the subframe brushings translate a lot more of what's going on to the driver. Haven't been able to exercise the diff yet. Overall it's a much more balanced feel with the M3 bits. Quote:
Have you thought about doing an LSD?

At some point, I think I'll upgrade to an LSD, but I am hoping to get away with the M3 bits for now without any traction issues. |

Been driving for a few days now with the parts in, 150 miles or so. Absolutely love what the sways have done for the overall feel of the chassis. It is noticeably tighter, no play. Body roll is lessened. I can toss the car through corners a bit more freely.
The LSD is also great. I got it for the track but even on the street, the difference is noticeable. Power delivery is a lot smoother (probably thanks also due to the M3 subframe brushings, though I don't know the exact difference they make...) - car pulls straighter under acceleration and seems more planted. Applying some gas through turns - the power just happens, you get accelerated through the turn. Before the car seemed to have some squirreliness doing so. Going over bumps, ridges, any sort of broken pavement under any sort of acceleration - car just pulls forward, no hesitation or TC lights on. Will post a full thread once I understand more about what these mods have done for the car.
