It went from a 6 to 10 inch winter weather warning to a 3 to 5 inch winter weather advisory to a 0 inch 100% incorrect forecast for our area.

My sister in law did something similar maybe 4 or 5 years back except in an Expedition, but the house did not fair well at all. This was up in NH as well, and there was black ice but she was also doing 60 in a 35 (typical woman in a huge 4x4 SUV thinking she owns the road). She crested a small hill hit the black ice which caused her to fish tail, she over corrected and went off the road through a fence and straight into a house. The house was knocked off the foundation directly opposite the impact. She was fine though, air bag did deploy. IIRC, I think my my brother and his wife ended up having to remorgage their house b/c they ended up having to almost rebuild the damaged house completely. She's a head nurse now though so she's making some good $ to make up for it.
