Overlord- gorgeous color there! Gunsmoke is 2nd darkest.

It goes, in order from light to dark:

Tint
Gunsmoke
Smoke
Charcoal

I would DEFINITELY go with gunsmoke- NEVER had an issue- taillights look stock- nice deep red.

Actually, according to their site (the link you gave), gunsmoke is the lightest of 3 tints:

"Gunsmoke (light), Smoke (medium), Charcoal (dark)"

Correct Lotus (tints are for the headlights I believe).

Thanks for the clarification!

Do you have any pictures of the sides of the taillight assembly? I'm interested in seeing how you finished off the corner where the reverse section meets the red portion. Did you try to radius the corner to match the corners on the back side or did you just go with a straight sharp corner?

Thanks!

Can you see the tabs or lines? I am concerned it won't look clean.

This is the lightest from the lumin x chart but still dark for me. I'm really not going for the ghetto look. The tabs are still on there and needs to be cut. The pre-cut still needs some work with the heat gun. I also do have air bubble that i need to get out.

Headlight gunsmoke tints...maybe it's a bit too much. In the sun light and out of the sunlight.

Can you expand on that? The sheets were too small and you needed to heat them to stretch them to fit? Or what?

This film is very forgiving. If you mess up you can peel off and stick it back on. I had way to much bubbles on my tails so I just peeled off and re applied it today (it was applied yesterday). My advice to everyone doing this is to apply one 1/4 of the tint on the side with the minimal curves. Then, heat (lightly) and pull on the tab and aligh the top of the light. After..use squeege to apply. Make sure you spray a ton of water inside and out. You will have a ton of bubbles, and poke with a needle techinque will not work for this process. Pretty easy wrap after my experince with wrapping my whole car. Alway take your time and do it right. PM me for specifics.

I had gunsmoke on my Xenon headlights

I ripped them off 2 months later. I can't see sh1t at night. The cosmetic look is not worth the loss of focused bright light at night. I had gunsmoke all around- and now, they're just on my tails.

I'd say tinting the headlights to me is more ghetto than a light tint on the rears.

The stock E93's third brake light is actually slightly tinted from the factory, as you can see from the photo below, so I think gunsmoke is a perfect and classy match to it. IMHO...

Yea, I was so torn (pun intended) but I had to pull em off

Too bad, looked sick on a space grey metallic with sport trim, black kidneys, and 19" 199 black rims

Those are awesome! Is that a cover for the stock light or a new light you installed. (Need to make more posts before I can PM). I'd love to do that to my E90 (if that's possible).

thanks for posting up pics everyone,

would be nice if the gunsmoke was a little lighter or they had another option especially for the headlights, i could deal with a little lose of visibility at night for the protection and really light tint

i had this on my TL-S and the lose of visibility was basically not noticeably but improved the look
