I am going to order a 4 series 3.0d M-Sport tomorrow ,for a similar amount of money £40-£45k is there anything else I should have considered like the Merc C coupe like Scott just purchased.

Thoughts please .

FWIW I think they are considering offering me around 8-10% off list.I have already given the salesman some online quotes and explained it was pointless inviting me in to then be unable to match the quotes provided.I was only going into check Estoril out against Mineral , I was then just going to let the broker do the rest.But the sales guy who sent me the brochures insisted I gave him a chance to put a deal together.

I don't think you can order a 430d yet can you? I'd be surprised if the dealer can put any deal together for a car not released yet.

Well he has sent me brochures ,prices and said they are being built from October or just want the Deposit /order in his pocket.


I have explained my wife still likes her E92 and is happy to wait for the 3.0d and if they cant do a deal I would just order it from www.webuythecar.co.uk


We are going in today to check colours etc on a F30 they have and if the deal is there leave a deposit

Interesting option - you can buy a NEW Audi S5, with nav, toys, leather, 7 speed DCT, quattro, etc, etc, for just over £40K from the likes of Broadspeed/Drive the Deal...! OK it's not a diesel, but a lot of car for that momey. Think the 4 is looking too expensive.

And another 2K for nav, foldy mirrors, etc, etc, etc! And no 4WD... 435i CO2 is better though! ~£46K for a 435d is just a bit mad now. Quite like the idea of an S5...

435i M Sport, £40441 + nav (£1000), etc... is not much different to just over £40k no? And the A5 has been around for donkeys years now.

Well, another grand plus other bits I guess and no 4WD. Guess the A5 is due for replacement soon hence the ~£8K discount...

Still have yet to see a 4 in the flesh so will reserve judgment!

I went in yesterday and just happened to see the 4 they have in for the launch party, it is a 420d m-sport in Black ,

I sat down thrashed out a deal I got all the bits we wanted and agreed at £39995. I think it was 43,500 and it is ordered and will be delivered around the end of Nov

I bet that 430d is an awesome but of kit. I was disappointed that they don't offer a manual version (unless things have changed) so, for me, it'll be a manual 435i M Sport. Interesting that they're offering discounts already on their new motor, usually have to wait 6-12 months, maybe the signs of a more competitive market. What spec did you got for Paul??
