KW V1's installed on E90 LCI 335XI
Well, the 4x4 look of my previous setup was driving me nuts. Aside from the large wheel gap, the car felt floaty and there seemed to be some driving dynamics that might have been lost due to the increased ride height. I picked up the KW's from Alan at **********s. The service and shipping was fantastic!! Dedicated service all the way through. Thanks!!
The install was done at a local shop called the Tuning Factory. Awesome shop for anyone looking to do work in Calgary. According to the installer, the job was fairly straight forward and he did not run into any snags. After the install and adjustment, we took it for a spin and right away I noticed that the car was way tighter. You can really feel the road but not really in a bad way. The ride was a lot more complacent then I thought it would be. Handling characteristics of the car was considerably better. The only thing of concern I noticed was that there was almost a knocking sound when going over bumps at lower speeds. As mentioned in various theads I have read, the sway bar end links and top strut bolts were rechecked. All were tight and nothing seemed out of place. I realize that a stiffer suspension would result in more vibration and noise but not sure if this sound is normal or not. Anyways, here are some before and after pics. My goal for the ride high was to make it look sexy but still keep it functional for the harsh Canadian weather. Comments would be greatly appreciated Before: After: |

The KW V1 xi looks perfect on your E90 LCI Allan! I'm glad to hear/see that everything worked out according to plan! BTW, did you get a chance to install the Evolution RaceWerks Pipe?

YES!! Pipe is installed along with Forge DV's and the install was a breeze The throttle response is amazing and sounds great too. The pipe is awesome. I'm getting a lot of compliments about it from my friends.

Looks good.. But you said you heard a knocking sound? Is that really "normal" or did you get it fixed?
