Raced a space grey e90 335i today (11/09/08), anyone know who it was?

Raced a space grey e90 sedan on the LIE eastbound from exit 32 through 34. It had 19 inch gunmetal wheels (couldn't make out brand). It also had numbers on the driver side window that would lead me to believe that it had recently been at the track. I spoke briefly to driver and a blonde that was riding with him. I asked if the car was modded and they said yes. I have a silver e90 with 19 BMW performance wheels, tints and the dinan stage 2 flash. I think his car may have been a little faster, I got ahead once and so did he. I would like to know who this was and what he was running. Car had NY plates, I think first three letters were DTD. Anyone??

Oh he also had blacklines.

cant think of it of the top of my head lol......only one i can think of is......um did he have a vanity plate?

Don't think it could've been space gray if it had blacklines, I don't think it was offered on pre facelift sedans.

The 2009 E90 has Space Gray, but no Blacklines for the 2009 E90s yet.

Maybe it was sparkling graphite. It was dark out but it looked like a color between silver and grey.

No vanity plate. It was a really great looking car though. I am sure someone has seen this guy around.

I bet he does. I have been meaning to go to the bestbuy westbury meet, but I have 2 kids. a little tough to get out sometimes.
