track tire pressure

I just got a set of Michelin PS2's for my 335i coupe & was wondering what's the best tire pressure for these on track?

Front 18" - 225/40
Rear 18" - 255/35

Door panel says to keep these pressures for the tires:
Front 32 PSI
Rear 35 PSI

The other door label says to keep these pressures if going over 100mph:
Front 38 PSI
Rear 42 PSI

Also, someone said if the tires make a screeching sound a lot on track, then that means they're under-inflated. Is that correct or is it if they're over-inflated, they screech? I forget.

The PS2's stick like glue on track. oh yah, I like!

Thanks

I start with 38PSI all around initially, then adjust throughout the day.

When my r compounds died...I put back on my Goodyear F1-D3s...and set them at 38 PSI cold...they worked ok..I just didnt want to wear off the outside edges...not worth it.

I ran 38 all the way around with ok success. but i dont have staggered setup for the track. PS2s as well. A little outer tire wear but stock suspension. Gonna try and put more negative camber up front for my next day.
