Scoops will do a great job of collecting dead bugs then sending them to your air filter. On the N52 motor, the best way to unlock power and throttle response is a performance air filter and performance exhaust.

My intake box was notably dirtier with the scoops than without and I did feel an increase at high speeds with them. Either way, I think they look cool.

Same here after removing mine I noticed I need to clean my filter way less often than before and even that much less dirtier, not sure I felt a difference in power /response though

The best way to unlock power in the N51 / N52 is a tune and a header. Intake mods and the PE add very little power.
