Hi guys.. I have a 2012 e92 on order with the bmw business system... what do you guys think of these? I want to only add and amp and sub (JL Audio 500/1 and 12w7) would these speakers sound ok with this amp and sub? also would I need anything else to connect this amp?

w6's are awesome. Simply put, you'll need to have a direct positive power to your amp from your battery. A ground onto some part of your frame or chassis of your car. Then a power on to tell your amp when to turn off or on. There's a ton of information you can find over the web if this is your first audio setup.

Wow, very nice and clean looking.
Where did you get that enclosure? I was thinking of putting mines on the left and most corner enclosures I found online were only for 10" subs, so when I went to a local audio shop to see how much custom enclosures would cost they quoted me $700+ for what I wanted. The only thing stopping me from installing my sound system is that i'm missing the corner enclosure, I need help finding one for the left corner of the trunk that fits a 12" sub. |

Im in the same situation as you, but i got quoted £700 (€1300ish!). So i am going to make my own one.
If you're interested, read my thread titled "My second stage upgrade..." Has a lot of info on making an enclosure. |
