What is it at under wot? You'll see a wide range from 400-700 depending on various factors. Easiest way to see if it's bad is go take a log from 2k rpm in 3rd to 4th and redline 4th

at the very least, get 3rd to 6k rpm +.

That is the fastest and easiest way to find a failing hpfp. trying to tell off idle rpms isnt going to do anything for you.

I tried playing that game. I was on the side of the road for about 30 minutes with 4 police officers. They let me go. (I do not recommend though). It was a nightmare and got really sketchy.

Have the same issue. This is a wot log

What do you read into it? I have no clue. I sometimes get 29DC code and limp after wot. This log was without any hesitation...

What would it mean if the rail pressure was sitting above 2000 at idle? Or is that normal for a cold start?

What is normal rail pressure under WOT? If my lpfp seems to be holding up well but the rail pressure goes below 1000 sometimes during WOT does that mean I'm running too much e85 or the hpfp is failing?

HPFP 2,200 PSI on idle

hey everyone, first post ever i was wondering if someone could help..

i have a bmw 135i N54 DCI bmw performance exhaust and COBB stage1
and i have noticed sometimes after some WOT runs all the way to redline when i come to a complete stop after 10 seconds the HPFP shoots up to 2,200 PSI and sits there and after 10 seconds the injector(s) start to tick louder like its being put under enormous pressure without the fuel being used.
the car idles OK no other sounds or noises that i can hear besides the louder injector tick after the HPFP PSI shoots up to over 2k

BUMP instead of making new thread.

When already warm, my HPFP bounces back and forth between 700 to 2000s at idle. I can hear an extra loud ticking (way louder than normal DI tick) when it spikes. I bump the gas and it goes back down to 700 and sound goes away.

HPFP only dipped below 1400 once during wide open pull and recovered quickly.
