Drifting isn't a useful skill in driving except for showing off or ruining tires. Try practicing cornering to the point of 4 wheel even slides and making those control able. For example adding a touch of power if you have understeer, easing off the power with oversteer. This will get you the fastest around corners. Then practice braking later and later into corners till you hit the limit, etc. Do thus stuff on a track or somewhere safe and it will translate into useful driving skills to get you out of dangerous situations or improve cornering speed.

I have going to the track since 2010 and before was doing hillclimb so I belive I have decent experience controlling over and understeer on both fwd and rwd. Power slides are different.

I can't do power slides either. Must be something in my lack of experience. I'm so sad. Then I remember I have xDrive and an N52. haha
