The quaife I think will mount on the rear of the XI.
If you get a rear diff it's about all that you need. Rear will slip way sooner. -scheherazade |

My statement still stands, the options for the E46 definately looked better.

Recommend ECU re-flash
I would like to see AMS produce an ECU re-flash that produces some decent power, gets rid of the top speed limiter, and is affordable. Also, as was mentioned before, XI models need not be forgotten, especially when it comes to suspension.

AMS is the shizzle. Can't wait to see their products for the N54 platform. Affordable and proven power FTW!

hahah thats what I told the guys in the back about my car. "screw this bolt on stuff, slap a GT35R on there and lets call it a day" LOL
We do want to see what we can do with the stock stuff though. We want to really break this car down and see how we can make it better. I will have some teardown pics for you a little later on Eric |

Well we got the car on the dyno for a baseline pull before we start slapping prototype parts on her. SAE Correction on our Dynojet 424X she put down 260whp and 280 ft lbs.
We also pulled of the stock airbox lid to see if it picked up any power. Some were reporting some pretty big numbers. Well we tried it and she picked up a whopping 2 hp LOL. We will see what intake we design can do for the car. Eric |

Eric, is it realistic to expect that AMS will have a turbo kit ready for the public within the next year and a half? I ask this because I would want it done at your shop, no matter the distance, before I leave for Europe.

I'm sure the gain would be bigger but I'm still a bit skeptical. But hey, that's why we test on the dyno |

i cant wait to see the limits of this n54 engine. I guess AMS will push this car to its limits. I am very excited to see what AMS can do. Keep us posted with the progress you make on this car, and i hope one day one of our n54's can be a part of your record braking signature.
