You could mask the thread and paint them silver or black - but then you need to take care in putting them on off, using a lined socket would help.

16 black bolts
or chrome with 4 locks if your wheels are nice (if you know what I mean): 16 crome bolts + 4 locks |

Slightly off topic, but where can you get a lined socket? I'm sure I've seen some before with a tough plastic inside but not been able to find any for sale and the colour on my nuts is getting scratched horrifically
