-= 100% OEM M3 Cluster Retrofit =-

I have been very jealous of how the M3 cluster looks like comparing to my boring, orange 335i cluster. Not anymore

I finished the M3 cluster retrofit in my car today and I must say I am extremely happy. Not only the cluster itself looks great but it matches the CIC backlight,
so when you look from a distance you can see how good they look together.

My car is a US spec 335i, but I live in Poland so I changed to the Euro spec cluster.

The M3 cluster is coded for my car spec, so the content of the display in the middle is a bit different than in the M3.
The redline position changes with the oil temperature. When the engine is cold the redline starts at around 5,500 rpm. When it's warmed up it looks like on the below picture (around 7,000 rpm).

this is interesting. can you PM me with pricing?

also, can the redline temperature changes be altered? ie 3k RPM when cold, and set the final redline point at 7k rpm when warmed up?

I've always wondered about the redline temperature change. It appears the 335i cluster has an adjustable ring on the tachometer side just like the speedometer side. Knowing how the indicator works for the cruise control, I wonder if the tachometer has a similar function that just isn't coded on our cars.

The max on my stock 335i cluster is 300 Fahrenheit and the M3 Euro cluster max is 150 Celsius, so it's the same.

No pricing yet, but will should know more soon.
The biggest issue for me is to find used M3 US spec clusters unless you want the Euro spec

The redline change cannot be modified.

Looks amazing. Is it possible to change the color without swapping the whole custer unit. I've wanted that color scheme so bad on my 328xi.

I also did a M3 retrofit on my cluster. Can you tell me where I can get M3 Needles? Mine were very tastelessly painted with a red sharpee by the guy who did the mod... any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

And nice job! Looks great!

Can't buy the M3 needles by themselves as far as I know - you need to have the cluster to get the needles.

If you did an M3 Cluster Retrofit, why don't you have the M3 needles?

My retrofit is a complete swap of the M3 cluster.
No individual parts were taken out of the M3 cluster or my original cluster.

What you can see on the pictures is 100% OEM M3 cluster installed in my 335i and coded for my car spec.

I guess most of you are talking baout taking some components from the M3 cluster and puting them inside our 335i clusters, but this is a completely different approach.

A much BETTER approach.

I've already done the LED/M3 needle retrofit, but had I known this was possible, I would've definitely gone this route.

PM me pricing on coding. I'm very interested!

Actually not a full time job at all, but I like to bring some new stuff for you guys and I love to mod my own car, so two birds with one stone

For those interested in this mod there are two options:
1.You can buy the M3 cluster and send it to me for programming - this can't be done remotely as the VIN and mileage have to be adjusted.

2.I am looking for a source of the US spec M3 clusters (I only have the Euro spec now) and when I am ready I will be offering them here (PnP installation).
