It's just plastic. The big piece is primered and small piece is matte black.

Mine is gloss black Carbon. Makes such a difference to the rear.

Ordered the OEM diffuser for $270 shipped from a dealership (BMWmercedasparts). Didn't realize I'd also need the three trim pieces (e90 325i, aftermarket "M" rear bumper), which is another $120. Can't believe those two outside little plastic trim parts are $50+ each. Maybe I will just fabricate those out of aluminum.

Canadians out there?!
Hello all,
I've been looking to add a carbon fiber diffuser to my e90 lci 328i. Finally after coming across this thread I realize a few things: 1) I need to upgrade my stock bumper to an M-tech bumper to be able to install any kind of diffuser. 2) Once I get the M-tech bumper, I have to remove the diffuser that comes with it and purchase a new CF diffuser and install it. Am I right so far? Problem is that the sites that sell these things are in the US and they don't ship to Canada. Bimmian is our Canadian "go to" store for good quality aftermarket mods, but they don't have anything that works for the LCI. Any suggestions on what I might be able to do??? |

Diffuser
So I have held off installing my quad exhaust for over a year to find the right diffuser for me. I know DD has one for the quad turbo exhaust outlet but have heard horror stores from the vendor. I guess I was wishing another vendor would create a new quad diffuser for turbo outlets. The 335i turbo outlets, you can see that the tips are at/inside of the original tips, not pushed out to the edge like the non-turbo (most quad diffusers on the market).
I stumbled on Scorpp's advertisement in the corner of this form and check them out. From what I see they have a diffuser that looks to be for quad turbo outlet exhausts for E90. Does anybody have any ifno on this? Last edited by dbltakegs3; 04-02-2014 at 10:12 AM.. |
