Yaaardhouse! It's only got 100 beers on tap. I think there's ample parking in the Paseo Colorado parking structure if we want to take pics. Put me down for a maybe Long.

You see, a few days ago, I was surprised to hear noises eminating from the space above my drop ceiling. Although it scared me at first, I soon realized the sounds were much too loud, quick and clumsy to be a rat. I climbed a ladder and removed one of the panels. I didn't see much but one large feather. So the following day I went to Big 5 and bought a couple of Hooters (owl decoys) to scare away my pigeon-toed friend. Sure enough, I once again heard noises, so I quickly opened one of the ceiling panels and peeked in. It was a fat pigeon. I grinned and place one of my plastic hooters in the attic space, sealed the ceiling, and went about my business. A few seconds later, I heard bird steps walking right up to where I had placed my owl. WTF? I guess I can't fool this bird brain. I later tried to entice the pigeon with bread crumbs, but she simply looked at me and the crumbs. I think she was pregnant and needed a nesting place. I haven't heard her footsteps lately, and she hasn't set off my microwave sensing alarm recently. Perhaps she found a better hang out, but if she comes back, any ideas? |

Yeah, at my apartment, the pigeons like to nest in the roof as well. What we've done is seal off the hole in which they enter with some chicken wire. I guess you'd have to wait until she leaves, unless you want to seal her in. One time, a pigeon had decided to nest, and then croaked in the roof. The tenants were complaining of a foul smell. Hahaha....
