Gross Number of Errors in Bentley Service Maul

Just received the Bentley Service Manual for 2006 - 2009 and as I thumbed through the pages I noticed there are a ton of errors. Model specifications are wrong in some instances, there seem to be a number of mispellings, and unfinished sentences. In some cases, it's as if they stop the sentence in mid thought. This leads me to the believe some critical information (operating paramters and maintenance procedures) may be incorrect. The diagrams and pictures are good, but I doubt the quality of the information presented. Bentley should be embarrased to put out a publication with this number of errors. Anyone else find a ton of errors in this book? Can I trust the information here?

A physical copy of the book is always more useful than a pdf. Last thing I want to do when working on my car is start up my laptop and get grime all over my laptop.

I'm still not following you here. Where is said PDF?

I find it hard to believe one exists...

I've just... acquired... latest version of Alldata (feb 2011) and they have a lot of invalid data too. Up to a point where they say N54 needs 5 quarts of oil.

Yeah, but when you're working on the car and need to reference something quick, you still have to load up your computer and pull it up. I was just saying a service manual is much more handy.

I'm sure I do more work on my car than you which is why I said a PDF isnt as useful because I know from experience, I've used both and the pdf was always more of a hassle. A service manual can get a little dirty, but as long as it's readable who cares.
