I'm going to take a trip to a dealer soon to mull the possibility over. I need to sit in it first though, etc. But if an offer of $55k was presented, I may take it.

I took a look at a CTS earlier today, Had my little girl with me no test drive it was Black/ebony interior.. did start it up and it sounded good real good... Interior was really nice the dash board flowed very well... Made it feel more expensive for some reason unlike the 3 series design. CTS Steering wheel was ok but maybe I'm just spoiled from the meaty 135 M wheel. The CTS wheel felt swede soft (i liked that part) but skinny. geez what a deal
*I don't know how or why American auto makers make the buttons, nobs, switches in cars feel and look so cheap, seems to always remind me of a mini van. It boggles my mind.

Might be me being european but that CTS is fugly and i'm feeling a "mild"preference of the reviewers towards the american car because it is american throughout the entire video. Ways of trying to boost american car economy ?

i'm sure they do, it's a great tvshow, but to be honest the car review system on the website is 8o11ock5.
They occasionaly "forget" the running cost score at some cars, and give some superb cars a 10/20 for performance... just to pull the overal score down. They basicly just pick brands and bash or love them. for example : M3 E92 : performance 10/20 Running cost 10/20 ... End result : 16/20 new RS4 performance 20/20 running cost ... blank ... End result : 16/20 That seriously ain't objective reviews to me And we all know how jeremy likes to bash m3drivers lol Not saying the cts-v is a bad car btw, just has that entire feeling over the review... but then again, no other hosts are capable of creating such an unpleasant feeling for the entire video just by talking |

The CTS-V, like most of GM's current performance cars, offers VERY serious value, with a few flaws. If I were in the market for a car that size, it would either be the CTS-V, or the G8 GXP. Both represent extremely good value in their respective price class, with significantly more power and performance than anything else you can get for the same money.

I thought the comparison was honest and unbiased, regardless of what brands are #1 in your hearts the CTS-V for the price and performance its a show stopper. It cost less than a M3 and outperforms it at the same time.
