Floyd (SoYank) should be able to give you an idea of price on the 193M Spider spokes that you like if you PM him as he has just bought a set for his SE.
List in the accessories catalogue I have is £2k, but that includes a set of RunFlat tyres, so it would probably be closer to £1200 - £1400 from a dealer I would think. http://www.bmwmstyle.co.uk/E90-Alloys.htm put them at £1405 with tyres, though the type of tyre is unspecified, so guessing a reduction for tyres is more difficult.

Lisa stick with the si wheels.
You will get people looking at you when stopped at traffic lights.... I got used to that in my last car (convertible) so i'm ok with people staring. One thing I will say is that they are probably harder to keep clean than the standard wheels.

The information I have on the M-Spider Style 193 is £293 for front and £305 for the back wheels without tyres. The set with tyres is £1995 and come with either Bridgestone Potentas or Michelin Pilot Sport PS2. Both tyre makes are runflats. So Matt isn't far off but what's £4 between friends? There was a picture posted with the Style 216. If you're interested, a whole set is £2395 (with tyres). I like the 193s better.

Hello & Welcome!
I'm in the age group 16 > 25, hence why I've already battered my e92, tested the airbags out and even driven it over 70 once

First you have to have a summer. Wasn't there a day or two in August last?

It was 14C on Saturday, bright sunshine, and I was in bed with the dredded Man Flu! (just my luck) I'm almost alive today though and the weather is perfect for cruising about in a highly polished beema woohoo!!
Last year was great, we had 4 days in April, 1 day in June & 3 days in Aug when it didn't rain and I noticed a strange bright light in the sky! hmm, I'm concerened that I've almost seen the quota for this yr already!

If you go to autotrader.co.uk and search for 320si you will see examples of what your car will look like with those wheels. Theres no silver ones with pictures up at the moment but there are some graphite ones which should give you an idea

Voice control advice
Hi all
I've just collected my "58" reg 320d Edition M Sport Touring, and was windering how you all find the voice control. The only thing I can manage to make it do is dial a number. It won't recognise anything else??? Also, I don't have usb, and the AUX is rubbish for Ipod. Is the glove box BMW fit with cable the best option, this then allows the Idrive to work the ipod? Would appreciate some advice on the voice stuff though, a bit annoying at the moment. The car has idrive and business nav. Thanks. |

for AUX you say it's rubbish, you mean sound quality or the control?. if it's sound quality then the reason is your using the headphone out of the ipod instead of the dock connector, get a belkin cable that charges and provides sounds from ipod dock, sounds much better. The usb option will provide no better sound that aux. If you want to control the ipod there is a retrofit option I think, speak to the dealer, from what I recall there are limitations with it |

Hmm, that's not quite correct, it may be in some instances but when hooked up USB the head unit reads the files and decodes them, doing a digital to analogue conversion.
If you use the aux input you are relying on the quality of the MP3 player, which in the case of the ipod is not very good, even from the line level. That is why Alpine made such a big thing about hooking up usb as did Wadia with their dock. I think the USB connector is far better than the aux, you need decent high bitrate files and anything less than L7 system probably won't show the differences though, but the decoding of the files seems pretty good with the factory usb option. |

It's the sound and the control that I'm not keen on, but if the belkin lead sorts out the sound that would be better. Do you still need to control via the ipod or does it bring the idrive into play? Thanks for you help. |
