I have tried both RAD2 (professional) and RAD1 (Business) and realized that teh RAD2 sound better with effect features (delay sounds, EQ setting)

They are pretty close in sound quality. The Logic7 has a more defined "surround" sound to it thanks to the "effects" feature. I'm quite big on my stereo sounding good - the Logic7 IMO is not worth the $$$ for the upgrade. Better to put that money towards an aftermarket system if you don't like the BMW one.

I've noticed that the surround sound is a bit weird sounding at times. Often, I find it annoying because it will get loud in the back. It kind of sounds like your speakers are going on and off. Anybody else notice this?

I don't llike the sound effect b/c it puts the sound stage way too low.

I've noticed the sound in my car changing too. I had a friend ask what was wrong with my stereo. I thought I had to pop my ears, but I think it's because of the compressed MP3 disc that I use. Some songs are in SS and some songs sound like there only in the front speakers. Plus some songs sound really good and others only so, so. Just my 2 cents.
