it's a nice interactive full sized map in a car - but probably this still not main navigation, as the projected on screen is the best one imho.

I like it though an auto dimming for night driving would be sweet

Do we really need dual climate control? Or digital read out?

I like the z4 interior. Simple and classic.

I seriously could not live without dual climate controls! My wife is always cold, and I'm always hot!

Just because you're allowed enter a destination in motion does not mean you HAVE to enter it.
If you see the situation is not fit (heavy traffic) then don't do it.

It sounds like you're blaming BMW for giving you this freedom.

That's like saying "my mommy wasn't there to tell me to look both ways before crossing the street, so I didn't and got hit by a bus... mommy's fault"

How about this for a prototype? It's already been done!

I hope their cards don't run nearly as hot or power-hungry as they do in regular computers.

I always put the destination in before I leave, or have the passenger do it. Or at least wait till I'm at a red light or something.

AMOLED screen could replace every button like these smartphones.

I'm also a fan of satellite imagery for nav, like my smartphone as well.

You might try to use the voice command input.

feelin it hard... very hard.. Would be even better if they put Android, the new version coming out for tablets (honeycomb) and being announced tomorrow in it, all those new tablets will have this same tegra2 and be dual core

would be awesome to be able to completely control or look up any information that is 3x more detailed than iDrive is currently all from my DROID

That is a user issue, not the technology.

I see much grander things for having powerful gpu's in cars. Can you imagine not liking the "look and feel" of the stock car and then applying a new "theme" to radically change it all. It would almost be like free interior upgrades. The possibilities that could come out of something like this are boundless.
