if you would please, let me know how it goes. Are you doing the install yourself or a body shop? Also, shipped painted or painted to match? I am little leery on getting them shipped painted, but heard good things on some of the vendors.

I eventually did purchase a set of m3 skirts and i was fortunate to get the good batch. The only issue was i couldnt bring myself to install them LOL. While collecting dust in the garage it took me a really loong time to finally decide to give them a shot so at first i put one side and left the other side alone. literally having 1 mtech 1 m3 side skirt on my car for 2 weeks . I wanted to checkem out from all angles, lighting and eventually i grew fond of the m3 look mainly for its aggressive appeal. However i still think the mtechs flow better especially on its profile but at 45 degree angles the m3's make the car look mean! I still have my mtechs sitting in the garage, but ill be with my m3's for awhile. The install is very easy, just follow the DIY's which are plentiful and informative, save yourself a few hundred bucks. and regarding the paint, its really a crapshoot, id recommend getting it painted at a local shop so if anything goes wrong, ie: paint mismatch, you can address the issue at no extra charge. I had OEM-modified m3 skirts so they weren't 100% perfect and it drove me nuts every time i walked up to the car. Most people wouldn't notice but it killed me... so i'm just happy to have some OEM pieces that are meant for the car and will fit perfect. |
