What do you think would be a good size tire to stretch on a 20x10.5 wheel? I don't want too much of a stretch. Just a little for some fender clearance.

I'm running a 285/25/20 nitto invos which has no stretch on it.

I have 265 on a 19x10... barely any stretch.
I had 285 on 20x10 ...no stretch
I had 315s on 20x10.5 ...no stretch lol

To answer your question I would do a 275

255/30/20 or a 265/30/20 would be good.
couple questions:
are you stretching the front tire also?
if so what size tire are you running?
what are your offsets?
Right now I'm running a 275/30/20 on a 10.5 and the stretch is little. It would only be noticeable to people who know what a stretch is...

this is a 255/30/20 on a 10.5 wheel

why do you want to stretch tho? is your car lowered? are you running into clearance issues?

stretched tires on cars with wheel gaps look stupid and ghetto.

im running 285/25/20 nitto invos which have a round sidewall whereas the 285/25/20 falken 452s are bulky and give me rubbing issues... the nitto invos are perfect but they are on backorder and wont be available for a little while (who knows when). so i have the option of the falken 452s but im going to need to stretch it a little to clear the rear fender.

Thanks for the help!

Dpe doesn't release offset information but they do get it lined up with the fender nicely

if that is the case you are probably getting a 10.5 (+30<-->+32) That'll put the wheel on the lip. But I think you can get wheels to your custom sizing.

No way! On my X5. I think the highest I can get away with is a 295.

Not to sound rude but why are you running such a small tire?? I have the same exact setup with 265 in the rears and i might switch them to 285 or get 10mm spacers. Your dropped but not a lot. Just wondering why you went that route?

Also you need 15mm spacers for the rear...Tucked in with that tire.

im running the H&R races so its a little lower than the sports..Its more of i like the look more than anything. I know i need spacers i just couldnt figure out what size to go with. I dont want to roll the fenders or rub.... so you think 15s would do the job?

i stretched 245/35R20 on my X5 rear wheels (10.5") and 225/35R20 on front (9.5") if that helps at all... if you want pics let me know... they are hella stretched and unfortunately my main road to my house isn't paved yet so i have rock chips because the rim sits so low :/

I ran the recommended 315s....whyd you run a 245...Thats crazy stretch.

I run 315s and 275s... I was going to go do 315s all around but decided not to. Did you cheap out?

Its a BMW not a JDM car. I hate that stretched look and on a X5 looks ghetto. Im sorry and I want to see pictures.

Im sorry if I was rude.

everyone has their own taste... some people go stretched, some people don't. Some people go sport springs some people go coilovers... it's all preference. i actually don't care if my car looks ghetto to *some people, but i get tons of lookers and comments on how great my car looks...

i will get pics eventually... i live it WA so it's always raining so no chance has come thru to take a pic yet since i got back from deployment.
