Did the same, she was feeling all depressed! So took her for a little jog, I might go out later tonight to really stretch her legs.

So i was at the car show yesterday and i got to sit in the new Jaguar XJ Supercharged.
One word. Wow!!
I personally think Jaguar is really stepping up their game and the new XJ is no exception...
Now in terms of technology and interior it's by far the sickest interior i have ever seen.
If no one has seen the interior and the Digital tach please youtube it. It's impressive.
BMW's booth left a lot to be desired. Nothing special at all there. Was very surprised...

Depends where in the SS. E.G. Brossard is only 15 mins away from you. Is it further?

I think I'll go out in a few mins!

Jags are depreciation monsters, hope they fare better in the future. They are not really known for performance, more for their unreliability.....

I think I'll go out in a few mins!
That means:
20 mins going there...
5 minutes get it out.
20 minutes back home.
1h30 to get to the West Island.

repeat to bring it back to the South Shore.

maybe I evaluated the time to get to the W.I. a little bit too much...

I will go check it out on Thur night.
Jags look good. It doesn't surprise me that you like the XJ since you wanted a 7 series just a few months ago. Still those cars are closer to my age group than yours... but my wallet doesn't seem to be thick enough.

Garage List
I have a 2006 325i and was thinking of removing the resonator and keeping the OEM muffler.

Have any of you done this? Will it make any difference. Or should I just not touch it and spend my money on something else?

I am saving up for a performance muffler. Everything is that much more expensive to upgrade on an Bimmer.

Let me know.

Thanks!

great video... hmmm not an M. I will keep mine forever. Will modify it for track in about 4 years time. Until then it will be my 3 seasons daily driver and track car.

I will not be tempted by another car... I will not be tempted, I will not be tempted...

Probably wouldn't get it at this point in my life but it's definitely a good looking car. At least that's my opinion.
I gotta say though that what really impressed me about the car is the interior quality and the gadgets...

After driving AWD ( Quattro ) for past few months , i don't think i'll ever go back to anything else. I am now convinced that we need AWD in Montreal. IT just makes a world of a difference.
I was at my Girlfriend's sister chalet in Harrington which is where we had out Drive at the beggining of November and i did that whole road all the way up to Tremblant with my car during New Years weekend. There was snow everywhere on the roads and i was so impressed by my car that it was shocking how well this car handles in the snow. I would have never dared taking these roads with my M.
Bottom line is M for summer and Quattro for Winter . If you can only afford 1 i would have to say an AWD car.

Funny thing is, while awd is great for winter, I went the opposite direction from youyou; from an awd Audi to a rwd BMW....

For Urban and suburban driving, awd is not required, but welcomed in winter. For country driving, I agree I would prefer awd in winter.

Not something I wanted to read a few of months before the end of my lease... Specially since I'm considering RWD

I loooooove driving my car in the winter, specially after a nice snow storm... but I want something fun the summer months...

And no... I can't afford 2 cars... not yet.

Saw your car the other day Youval... lookin' good buddy!
