But brake dust is grayish brown! Yuck.

I'll vouch for Matte Black plastidipped wheels. I had to dip mine due to the previous owner not knowing how to park properly. In any case, it hides all of the rashes/gashes pretty well. It's been on the car for a month and has gone through 2 cycle of power washes. Holding up strong and I do not see any sign of wear or brake dust. I actually maintain it less than when it was silver.

Honestly I haven't had any problems with brake dust on this car. My e39 on the other hand ... had to wash the wheels every 3 days.

Basically what I'm saying is idk about the brake dust issue in regards to plastidip.
