What would you guys recommend for an upgrade to keep my n55 335i AT transmission as cool as possible? I went to the 1/4 mile and after a couple pulls I feel that my tranny didn't react to my shift points anymore from 2-3. I wonder if it has to do with overheating it or being very close to it. Probably wouldn't be that much of an issue on the track as there's a little more constant airflow but who knows, I've never been at a real track before...

Yes sir. I dynoed last year at 280HP/322TQ on an MD-250 which I thought was pretty good. I added an AR 4" downpipe since then.

Went with the ETS 5" fmic, BTW.

Good choice on the ETS direct fit... That's what I got, installed it at VAC and they were so impressed with the quality and performance that they want to start carrying stock

If you've never been at a road course yet, I'd say don't do anything yet until you see the cooling issue yourself. I think how much the car heats up is related to your driving skill/pattern more so than the hardware/tune. At first, you won't be able to push the car to its limit. But as you get more seat time, you'll get better progressively and see the limit for yourself, upon which you should upgrade hardware accordingly.

That's very true, I'll find out at Lightning aug 24th to see how I do and my car does.

That's impressive. Mike was saying how nice the unit they installed in your car was. I like their design and plug-and-play fitment. And you can't beat the price.

I'm in full agreement with wonho - just go to the track. Upgrade later. Make sure you have high-temp brake fluid.
