Non lci e92 headlight upgrade to lci.
Please can anyone let me know whether this is possible if there is coding for this and what would be needed. Have searched and don't find much info in this, just for the sedan, not common with the coupe. Thanks

Orion seems like the way to go. TomB Today, we are pleased to announce that you can now purchase the Orion V4 for the E92 and E60 pre-LCI and LCI models. The new rings have a lot of improvements over the Orion V2: 1) They have 96 LED (compared to 48) 2) They have a complete full circle without dotting 3) They have built in Night Controllers 4) They are brighter. There are only a limited amount of kits available - 20 in total for now. http://www.umnitza.com/index.php?mai...oducts_id=6141 Select your model from above. Detailed Information about Orion V4: http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showthread.php?t=938869 In case you are wondering what it looks like: https://sphotos-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphot...23158930_n.jpg More photos available as well here: www.facebook.com/umnitza |

You will need the following: - LCI Bumper - LCI Hood - LCI Headlights - FRM (possibly, depending on your build date, module) - LCI Headlights (Housings are easiest to find, but, be prepared to have to source the led blinkers, AHL modules etc - Proper coding to eliminate possible hyperblinking, error codes, abnormalities I had an e90 PreLCI at one point, my first BMW and worked through a e90 LCI update to the front end, it took approx. 6 months to source everything, It was only possible because of a connection I made with a friend who worked at a bodyshop, it was $$$ so I just ended up moving up to an e92 LCI Coupe (now sold) It's up to you, just make sure your investment is worth it, not to mention the time, prob around $2000 or so, again, it wont be easy but if your commited you can do it! Btw, there was a thread, it's been done before, just cant find it anymore Good luck! |
