Can I feel a misfire problem from inside the cabin?

Ive had the car misfire twice, both on cylinder 1 or 6 I cant remember which. Could I feel a misfire issue from sitting in the car at idle? The rpm needle doesnt move, but I feel a vibration and can hear a change in pitch for a split second. When my old camaro did this there was a miss issue. But the 335 vibrates so much normally I cant tell.

It also feels like I have a laggy acceleration at slow speed. Again however, this is an issue with these cars. So the vibrations and lag, could be a miss, or it could be how most of the 335's are normally. How can I tell the difference? Thanks

Has there been any lights(SES) on your dash board? Does it happen on cold starts?

This might help you out...

Yeah I got an ses both times, obdII says it was a misfire on cylinder 6 or 1, I cant remember. So I definately had two misfires. I just wondered if I could feel any difference in the car or only when a misfire happens. Ill check the link, thanks.

Depends on the misfire: sometimes you can feel it (usually a car goes into a limp mode in such sutuations), sometimes there's only a shadow code.

im having the same problem, but only misfire in the morning warm-up mainly or if im idling for a long time at a red light. i thought it was because of my JB3. im taking my car in for service on tuesday so i'll let my service advisor know about this.

Just had my car serviced per this SIB. It completely fixed the rough idle/misfire problem which had gotten so bad the car was almost undriveable after a cold start.

During idle, does the engine sound and feel completely smooth? I notice a slight change in pitch and a tiny vibration every few seconds.
