I work a lot. I'm an air traffic controller. I pay the car monthly on a loan.... Didn't pay cash. Bought it barely used, it's a 2011, it had 8000 miles. I'm in Montreal so insurance is quite cheap. I love my 335 coupe.

As a young child I dreamed of owning an Ultimate Driving Machine. I knew i had to have one. Its crazy cause its just by chance this happened... But I was in Detroit coming off a 3 day drunken coke binder and was walking around DTW airport after i just hit 167 dollars off the baccarat table at MGM. I was on top of the world and bought a one way ticket to Miami to visit my Mexican half brother who said he could get me a job "running hash on the lakeside". I didn't know what that meant, nor could i find any place in Miami called the lakeside who offered delivery service to submit an application too. But i figured...Hey! Ever since he got out of jail hes been a stand up guy so why not! So as i'm wandering around looking for my terminal I somehow strike up a conversation with a Syrian Monk waiting for his flight to Egypt. After he was describing the Church of the Holy Virgin, i was trying to tell him that his views and my views on holy virgins were different, and that when i picture my Jesus...he is wearing a tuxedo t-shirt. He found all of my revelations staggering and proceeded to convince me to further my studies with him. So i somehow boarded the plane and off to Egypt we went. The next few days were a blur since i was coming down from my high... but i somehow woke up in colorful sheets laying next to a camel with a broken nose and a zip lock bag with 2 of my teeth and 17 ounces of gold. Had no clue where i was so i asked siri where the closest airport was. Since my camels collar said "my name is siri" i was surprised to find out its not as informative as my iPhone back in the states, so i wandered to a residential area and finally found my way home. I ended up back in Miami to a pissed off brother in law. Come to find out since Florida is pending the legalizing of "hash" my bro-in-law was trying to get a leg up on the competition. So i used the gold i found on my adventures and some cash Ive earned to purchase my Alpine White 07 335i. Ive never regretted a moment since!

Bought previous (330i) by saving up enough cash, no finance. (Wife always gets the new car, so that's where the financing money goes). Totaled it . Insurance gave me $2500 more than I paid. Dip into a little more of the savings and now driving new and improved BMW.

I found my 330i in the back lot of a used car dealer, it was a trade-in that they did't have time to put on the lot. The dealer was closing shop that same day so he gave it to me for what he had in it on trade...5k below KBB (at the time). I wasn't even there looking for a car, was on other business. I did just start looking for a car so that is why I asked about it. I love unexpected deals.

Paid for my car through a few investments that paid off (started trading options/forex/stocks when I was 12) bought my car at 16 in cash, got a great deal on my 335i with only 45k miles! Paid 25k out the door for a CPO!

Drove my best man's 2002 in 1970 and waited many years going to engineering school and graduate school, working, also flying for a living.
Did Euro Delivery using Irv Robinson in Chicago (Motor Werks) thus saving close to 11%. I keep cars and trucks a long time meaning 10-12 years. I do all my own work and enjoy the challenge on a problem that comes up from time to time on cars and trucks. My E93 has had no issues in 5 1/2 years and in fact almost all my BMWs have been very reliable... |

I didn't piss around in school like all the other guys and got good grades. I got offered a job as a Quantity Surveyor whilst on work experience. Started my apprenticeship full time a month after turning 16. Worked my ass off for 4 years and saved a bit, at 19 (1 month before turning 20) I bought my 3 series with a little help from the bank of Dad. I pay him more than he makes on savings, but less than I would be charged by the theives in our capital city. 1 more year of payments and I'm debt free anyway.
I just bend over once a year for the insurance companies to have a go, which tbf, I seem to get off lightly, for a young UK citizen with a penis anyway. |

Have a well paying job as I have for years. I have no kids. The way I view spending money on a car is as long as my mortgage gets paid, all bills are paid, no creadit card or Line of Credit balance, regular monthly savings happens without sacrifice, then I spend whatever I want on a car... and trade them in every 18 months to 2 years to appease the beast inside me that pressures me to do so

I just drove a pos VW gti vr6 for a couple years with no car payment, built my credit up, worked hard for a couple promotions and saved for a down payment. Picked up my 07 335i with premium, sport, and cold package, 43k miles, 6mt, navi and best of all Montego Blue!

Hard work and went to college. By 25, I had two Bachelors degrees and my Masters in Nursing. At 26 I have now been married almost 2 years, and working on my Doctorates, bought a house and my 335i in the same year.
