Cost to Install Dinan Stage 2 Tune

Just curious, how much is the average cost to install a Dinan Stage 2 Performance Engine Software (N55).

You should have a BMW dealership who is certified in Dinan do it near you.

For those interested, my local dealer quoted me a little under $2300 out the door. May get it on Friday, still debating. Maybe I can tell my wife that it is just a normal tune up.

I figure 2-3 hours labor tops if it is just installing a tune charge-wise. Different if they are adding an oil cooler or fan I assume.

I was charged for an hour of labor when the Dinan tune was installed.

$1999 for tune plus tax is $2164 in Houston. So labor is only about $120-$130. At a dealer, that is probable 1 hour.

I had mine done in Atlanta and it was $125 an hour for labor and took an hour.
