I'm assuming that is where I would see the video enabled applications if the snap-in adapter is installed.

I might consider adding the snap-in adapter at some point, but for the moment, I'm happy to have the basic functions working.

Good luck!
I have coded $6NR with FA_WRITE to (CAS, NFRM). my CAR is a 04/2011 build with $6NF from factory...

How do I code the car to update the modules based on the VO. I know its using SG_CODIEREN to (CIC, MEDIA) but tipically i read the ECU modify, read using basic functions, change job type to sg_codieren and then execute the job..

thank you in advance

Exclamation

I updated my CIC and MEDIA based on my VO, below includes my deltas between my original FSW_PSW and current FSW_PSW file...

Please note the new changes $6NR creates

Whats weird is that I had ConnectedDrive under my menu, now it shows as BMW Assist... how do I get the connected drive option back on...

Yes my connected_drive setting is set to aktiv

How do I find out what ISTA level I have?

I suspect I need a FSC... Running CIC.C1A

Hello.. I have a 2012 X5, build date 11/11. I have nav, 6FL, combox, etc.. As I'm sure you already could figure out. When I received my vehicle I was a little upset as it was supposed to have BMW APPS, it did not. I have tried everything to get this enabled. I have CIC.19 version, and we have added $6NR to FA/VO, and sg_codieren to CIC AND MEDIA. We did have the same issue as above, connecteddrive turns into BMW assist. But still- no BMW Apps.. If anyone has any helpful info, I would greatly appreciate it. I have exhausted all my efforts searching and searching, this is kinda my last hope. Thank you all...

no luck, however i did find out that the dealer needs to run the VO update with the FSC, even though my car has all the requirements but the CIC.C1A is too new to work without the dealers involvement...

OK, first do not update to the latest firmware levels. You will then need an expensive FSC code to unlock the apps.

But, you need to have your VO and firmware set to date and firmware level when the apps were introduced.

You need combo and CIC.

Then add 6nr to your VO. Recode the car.

No guarantee but this should be more or less the protocol.
