Talking Need help! 2011 335is Good deal?

I came across this beauty yesterday and really considering buying outright. This is at a Mbenz dealer locally.

A few questions: What should my OTD price be? The BMW 4 year warranty should be good until 2015 is this transferrable and be applicable at my local bmw dealer? Can I upgrade the warranty for longer? Should I take into my bmw dealer to look it over?

Anybody that has a biz and uses a car as expense, can you describe mile tracking and how much of the cost is used as a deductible (depreciation, mileage, costs, etc)?

2011 335is Convertible M sport
Milage: 3624 (apparently the guy that had it never drove it); flawless condition.

Test Drive: I was looking at a 2013 335i but this felt so much tighter with the old steering, and the IS is fast.

Options:

It has black M sport exhaust tips. M performance package? It definitely sounds great.

Pics:

Thanks for the advice/help in advance!

For that price tag, I would get an m3, or e60 m5.

Your 1st set of pics made me dizzy.......

Great car, I'm a bit confused about the price, 59k? How much is that off the sticker price? is it worth 2-3 years less on the warranty/free maintenance? Some items on N54 are notorious for failure such as the turbos, longer warranty is a good thing to have in those cases.

And usually yes you can add a CPO warranty on a used car as long as you are in the warranty.

Probably stickered for $63kish but it's still 2 years old. I have a similar spec 2011 (non-vert IS) that I bought new for just under $58k. I'd say just $48k would be a better price.

One thing is for sure, if you get it remove that god awful ///M badge beneath the radio controls. It looks like there is some kind of badge next to the '335is' on the dash as well.

I got an offer for 45,500; I'm trying to get it at 45K OTD.

I just wanted to show the bmwconfig price and see what kind of depreciation it got.

One of my concerns is the mileage and the oil without change for 2.5 years!??

sorry about that, haha

no, no that was just the new car price. I wanted to show the options it has.
I was offered 45,500 +tax/fees. I was trying to get it to 45 OTD. They said it has a warranty until 2015, but I was going to take it to a local bmw dealer and have them look over it.
How much is a CPO warranty usually run?

I do want to hop in the 2014 M3 but it's a little out of the range for me at this point. I was going to get something to hold me over for a couple of years (+moonlighting haha) and then get into a used/new M3!

You ought to have the dealer check the maintenance records. I only have 11k on my car and the oil has been changed 3 times and brake fluid flushed. They'll do it annually as well as by usage.

I was thinking of driving it from the mbenz dealer to the bmw dealer and have them look over it. I'm going to ask about the service history, thanks for the advice. I'm hoping with your service hx that this had the same yearly changes.

What do you think would be a great deal for this one? 45K?

$45k sounds fair. May be able to squeak a few more $$ out of them or throw in an extended warranty. I know the dealer trade-in on my car with less than 10k miles and $10k in Dinan upgrades was only about $41k.

What did you end up getting the car at if you don't mind me asking?

Oh wow, I didn't expect that low of value but dealers make it on used cars!
I was thinking about the ext. warranty isn't it 7 years/100? What's the usual price of these?

I looked at the carfax and it has been serviced once by my local bmw dealer after it was bought by mbenz. So I definitely want to get a warranty.

Do the dinan upgrades void the warranty? I was thinking of doing suspension and exhaust as the first mods, if I ended up getting this.

Thanks for the help man.

The M3 would be nice, but the gas costs + insurance is not something I want to spend right now. I feel the 335is still can give me a good mpg and good insurance rates haha.

They wouldn't go for the 45K OTD he wants + TTTFs (~3K).

What should be max offer be for this one to still get a good deal?

Thanks

I just picked up a 2013 335is - AW with black interior, nav, heated seats, 7 speed DCT for 50K.

You should get it 45K out the door.

I believe you should be able to get the 45k OTD. BMW were discounting the 335is for 10k+ back in 2011/12. Just straight up with the dealership 45k OTD is the most you would pay for the car and walk out after. They will call you back.
