Garage List
I would expect it’s the same as my 330:

Man Trans fluid P/N: 83220406584 MTF LT-3 Lifetime Fluid. Cost me $50/L CDN (takes less than 2L IIRC)

The Rear diff was 83229415960 for $44/L CDN (takes just over 1L IIRC)

I just looked under the car and it has a blue label MTF-LT-3.
So the correct fluid is 83 22 7 533 818 Gear Oil - 5 Liter - MTF-LT3 - For Manual Transmissions

None according to BMW - it's "lifetime" fluid. I plan on doing mine around 60,000 miles, just as I did with my E46.

If you wish to follow Mike Miller's (of Bimmer and Roundel magazines) "Old School Maintenance Schedule", yes.

Well, I was amazed. The OEM fluid was like brand new.
I couldn't even tell the difference between the new and old fluid.
