I agree, IMO even the current iPhone is still WAY over priced. That's Apple for you though. 1-2 weeks after I got the phone I was regretting it. Then I decided to unlock it so I could add 3rd party applications. Now I love the phone and don't regret buying it in the least. Since I'm a tech geek I love the features of the iPhone but if it were just a cell phone for me, there's no way I'd buy it again.

That's why I'm waiting to see what's great about the new iPhone. If it's just GPS, 3G and a few other minor things then I probably will never buy it.

85 a month I get 450 anytime mins, 5000 night and weekend, rollover. unlimited data and unlimited text.

I have the "$59.99" plan with nothing else added and it comes out to ~$64/month.

But I don't have cable/satellite TV(because it is overpriced rubbish), so thats how I justify subscribing to a more expensive cell plan.

I pay about the same amount a month. 450 minutes/unlimited data/5000 nights and weekends/200 text messages. I'm not a heavy phone user so I get about 80-100 minutes rolled over a month.

Yeah, my minutes get rolled over n over n over. So the minutes don't bother me, I'm more of a texter and so are people I know. It suited me to add that option.
