No such luck on that buddy! I had the Bluetooth module as part of my USB/Audio interface option but Bluetooth wasn't enabled from the factory, so NCS Expert took care of that (along with the addition of a mic, Bluetooth antenna, and emergency speaker so I can now initiate and receive phone calls through the car's audio system).

There are several lines of code in the NFRM (actually, for me I only had to modify just one line) that you can set so that the halo rings will come on (only) if you have Daytime Running Lights activated, instead of the standard halogen bulb. But this only works if you have an FRM2 module, which I believe became standard in either 2007 or 2008 MY.

Did you also change the pad sensor cable? These are triggered by the rotor grinding away the sensor contact thereby triggering the warning light, so the only way to clear the warning light is to change out the worn sensor(s). Some brake pad kits come with the sensors, some don't.

Yes changed the pad, and my car already has normal BT interface, talking making calls through the car etc.

And my halo's come on when the car comes on. I like it that way.

Just swap the front and rear sensors, cut them open, twist the wires together, and reset your brake sensors with the BC button method.

If you don't care about having the sensors working....

theblackmamba - it looks like it should work but cables other than the OneStopElectronics cable have been known to be hit-or-miss

If you've replaced your wear sensors with brand new ones you should just be able to reset your service menu using the odometer button method.

Your best bet is to look in the BMW coding forum and find the list of possible options to be coded along with their module/value. If you have the same NCS Expert and Coding Tool that I have, then the step by step instructions are on the main screen when the program starts. Just remember to always start with NCS.

If you're interested in a remote DIY, send me a PM. Just make sure you laptop can communicate with your car first.
