Just spoke with 2 of the lawyers from one of the firms listed on the proposed settlement. They have been working on this since 2008 when it was first started(I think they were the first to take this). They can asnwer any questions about the settlement and also would like to hear what the owners think about the proposal. If you have questions or if you have concerns about the proposed settlement give them a call or send an email. I have worked with them over the past few years and they are nice guys.

Official recall date was October 26, 2010.

There are 4 firms splitting that fee and this firm has been working on it for over 3 years so I am not sure that this is the one they are going to retire on.

You should be able to get the wastegate rattle fixed anyway. Have they already tried to fix it and couldnt?

when I had the wastegate rattle issue I went to my dealer jmk bmw on rt22 and they gave me new turbos since they tried fixing the rattle and didn't work
