Yellow limp mode indicator on, CC-ID 29. Removing JB3 but need to delete codes?
I'm preparing to take my car in for diagnostics. I was powering through an on ramp earlier today and the limp mode indicator came on. Using the BC stalk I found that a CC-ID 29 was present.
I am going to remove the JB3 installed tomorrow, but I'm pretty confused about how to use the Bavarian Technic / BT cable. As I understand the procedure is as follows: - Plug in cable to USB port - Plug in other end to OBDII - Start up the software, walk through the menu items I'm also not clear on what modules to clear. I have faults on the engine module, none present for fuel system (possibly not HPFP issue?). Codes: Engine Fault - 2C31 - 2C6A - 30FF CAS - A10A - A0B1 - A118 - A0B5 Instrument Cluster - A3AD - A3AE - A554 I'm having a tough time googling what codes to trash ahead of the visit. Edit: Found a BT code list, going to note what codes I find and flip through this spread sheet. Last edited by riot; 01-19-2013 at 07:53 PM.. |
