Dyno Day

I just got through a Dynojet, will post the graphs later.

Mods: jb4 map2, BMS dp, ETS cp, BMS intake, 93 octane.
Car: 2011 335x drive half tank of gas

Map 2: 289 hp and 371 torque
Map 0: 273 hp and 333 torque I do have PPK

Wtf!! I Dyno the car at Machv, Dan is the owner and an awsome guy by the way. He has a 2009 e90 with Cobb map2 that runs 100 hp more. Having an xi auto I think is the biggers culprit but over all I expected more out of the set up.

That seems really low even for a xi. I think you should Atleast be around 310-320 whp. Howa your logs look?

So what gives with this set up? I thought I would put out at least 20 to 30 more HPs... Based on my calculations at crank its 350 hp and 440 torque I effing hate this car, N55 sucks balls or should I say the XI. Couldnt even break 300 hps lmao.

Graph doesn't make much sense.. what gear was this done ?

Are you running the jb4 on top of the ppk flashed ecu?

The 1st graph attached is funky I know, Dan said for some reason the Dyno wouldnt record all of it or something to that extent... He had done another car in the morning and it was fine. And yes, I cant remove the PPK so th JB4 is installed and to what I understand it should not interfere. Its in 3rd gear.

Well.. they are which sucks for me. I just need to figure out why they are so low with all of the mods! Something just doesnt make sense, I made a thread a few weeks ago when I installed the DP's that I felt the car feeling heavy and I just dont see how it added power! It sounds great, but I dont or cant tell the performance at all.. Well I now have the numbers to prove what I felt all along was an under performing car.

I put down 280HP/322TQ STOCK w/ 93 oct on a Mustang MD-250.

This is wrong man! Is that dyno reading right for other cars?

6AT is ALWAYS done in 4th. Your dyno operator doesn't know shit.

Those numbers are pretty dismal... Either A. it wasn't dyno'd right, B. Your Car is F'd up, C. Both A and B, or D. Maybe the N55 doesn't respond well to mods unlike the N54

I agree, car doesn't feel wrong but it sure doesn't feel like it has JB4 and down pipes like it should!! Something that doesn't add up is why the hp is almost the same on map 2 and 0 yet the torque seems different... PPK might have something to do with it but not sure. I have to log some numbers for Terry to see wtf is going on.

I had a Dyno done last Sunday. My car is a 6mt w/ jb4 nd Ar dp's running map 2 on 93 oct. He did three runs in 4th the results were 327whp nd 351tq Sae corrected. Are u guys getting similiar results?

I put down 300whp 296wtq on a mustang dyno wit ppk, and 308whp 328wtq wit jb4 on map 1 back to back runs, so somthing definetly doesnt add up. 6 speed manuel Rwd n55.

Try map 2 after u get catless dp's. My Dyno was on a Dyno dynamics but he said it was saw corrected. What exactly does that mean? And yea it's an "I"
